July is Multicultural Mental Health Awareness Month

July is nationally recognized now as Multicultural Mental Health Awareness Month, in order to highlight some of the barriers that people who speak languages other than English often encounter. In Virginia, the Community Services Board (CSB) of each county can help connect people who need mental health services with appropriate supports and services. The National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI) has excellent resources, statistics, opportunities, and posters that you can access at the link included here.
