Qualified Behavioral Health Technician (QBT)

Victoria Transcultural Clinical Center (VTCC) is a multicultural mental health agency that has been servicing children, youth, and families throughout Northern Virginia, including Fairfax County, Arlington County, Loudon County, Prince William County, and the Cities of Alexandria and Falls Church.

Our programs currently include Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) under the supervision of a licensed BCBA/BCaBA and Home-Based Intensive In-Home Services (IIH).

Qualified Behavioral Technicians are responsible for direct One-on-One ABA therapy, along with care coordination with schools, primary care providers, developmental specialists, social workers, and any other providers serving VTCC clients. VTCC is looking for both entry level and experienced individuals who have a strong interest and motivation in working with children, youth and their families.

We are looking for Qualified Behavioral Technicians located and/or to provide services in Fairfax County, Arlington County, Loudon County, Prince William County, and the Cities of Alexandria and Falls Church.

  • Preferable AA in Science / Psychology field
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to drive between various locations to provide client services
  • At least one year of experience working with children and/or adults diagnosed with autism-related disorders or related developmental disorders
  • Experience working with individuals diagnosed with ASD and/or other developmental disabilities
  • Needs to be able to work with aggressive clients
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills with team members and clients
  • Bilingual candidates in Spanish, Arabic, Korean, Vietnamese, Urdu, and Amharic among others are highly preferred
